We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist for our client.
We are building a new HR function and are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist who wants to help shape how we deliver efficient, high-quality HR services. This is a hands-on role with real impact—ideal for someone who enjoys operational excellence, building structure, and partnering closely with managers and employees in a fast-changing environment.
In this role, you will continuously improve core HR operational processes, providing qualified support to managers and employees across the employee life cycle. You will work closely with two HR colleagues and key stakeholders, and you will also drive and contribute to development initiatives related to ways of working, systems, data quality, and compliance. The work requires strong ownership, sound judgement, and a structured approach, as you will manage multiple cases in parallel and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Most employee and manager questions will be handled through our HR ticket system, where you will manage and resolve cases in line with agreed service levels and quality standards. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and a strong cultural fit, as we will work closely together in a small team during an important transformation phase.
Personal qualities we value:
- You take ownership and drive work independently, while engaging stakeholders proactively
- You bring a proactive, can-do mindset
- You are structured, reliable, and comfortable handling complex information with attention to detail
- You are solution-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to challenge and advise managers when needed
- You communicate clearly and professionally, and you act with discretion and integrity
Required Skills:
- Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work on-site at our office in Espoo 2–3 days/week (hybrid work possible)
- At least 3–4 years of experience in HR operations / HR administration, with solid understanding of core HR processes (e.g., onboarding, employment changes, HR data, policies, payroll coordination, pension, health & safety and vendor management)
- Good understanding of Finnish labour law and HR compliance practices
- Experience from a company within the IT industry or a similar fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in Finnish and English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in Workday (nice to have)
- Strong interest in digitalisation and continuous improvement; experience working with HR systems and using data to improve quality and efficiency is a plus
We offer:
- A key role in building and professionalising HR operations in a newly independent company
- Opportunity to drive improvements in processes, ways of working, and HR systems in a dynamic environment
- Close collaboration with experienced colleagues and stakeholders, with room for initiative and ownership
- A friendly culture with office-related activities (after-work events, etc.) and supportive colleagues
The position will start on May 2026, and the employment will be through Temp-Team Finland Oy. The position is fixed-term until December 2026.
