We are looking for a Documentum Developer for our client.
Documentum is an Enterprise Content Management system provided by OpenText. The D2 user interface of the Documentum system is currently what the client uses.
Our client has identified a need to utilize the API integration capabilities provided by Documentum. To achieve this, consultancy support is required to guide how to use the services offered by the Documentum API. The purpose of the consultant is to introduce the Documentum API to internal developers and provide guidance on implementing applications that consume the API.
Must-have knowledge and experience:
- Deep knowledge of Documentum Content Management System architecture and integration capabilities.
Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:
- Understanding of the Life Insurance business.
Planned Activities for the project:
Documentum Environment Assessment
- Understand current Documentum architecture and components (Content Server, REST, D2, xPlore, etc.)
- Review documentation – Architecture and Design
Life & Pension D2 Application
- Object model and metadata analysis
- Analyze ACLs, roles, and permission sets
- Review D2 configurations
Authentication & Authorization
- Understand current authentication mechanisms (LDAP, SSO, etc.)
- Review authorization flows and integration with identity providers
D2 Integration
- Conduct integration requirement analysis
- Define integration scenarios (e.g., document fetch)
- Perform gap analysis (e.g., metadata missing on the Documentum side)
- Identify performance, security, and compliance requirements
- Evaluate available APIs for integration (DFC, REST, DFS)
Support Integration Design with CAMU Development Team
- Define architecture and data flow
- Design authentication and authorization model for integration
- Define error handling and logging mechanisms
Implementation Support
- Provide walkthroughs of Documentum APIs and tools
Development Support
- Assist with API usage and configuration
- Help troubleshoot issues during development
Testing & Validation
- Support integration testing
- Analyze and resolve integration issues related to Documentum
The work will begin 8.12.2025 and the employment will be through Temp-Team Finland Oy. The position follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to work partly remotely and partly at our client’s office in Helsinki. This is a fixed-term position until May 31, 2026.
