We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong backend and frontend development experience to support, enhance, and maintain critical telecom applications for our client.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend components usingC, Pro*C, SQL/PLSQL, and TAO CORBA.
  • Develop frontend tools and interfaces using C# for userinteraction, reporting, and system configuration.
  • Implement inter-process communication and distributed application logic using CORBA middleware (TAO CORBA).
  • Develop and maintain Shell Scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Perform database design, query optimization, and stored procedure development in Oracle databases.
  • Ensure system stability, scalability, and performance under high transaction volumes typical of telecom systems.
  • Support production environments, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
  • Participate in system integration, testing, and deployment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specs, release notes, and operational procedures.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in C programming.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL for backend database operations in Oracle environments.
  • Experience with Pro*C.
  • Working knowledge of TAO CORBA.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration and Shell scripting skills (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
  • Experience in C#.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance engineering environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS systems or real-time charging platforms.
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs, microservices, or modernization of legacy telecom platforms.
  • Exposure to version control tools (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

 

The work will begin 26.1.2026 and the employment will be through Temp-Team Finland Oy. This position is remote-based, with the flexibility to work from the client’s office in Helsinki if preferred. This is a fixed-term position until July 24, 2026.
